The ACT is not the funnest thing in the world. In fact, It is very far on the less fun side off the fun-o-meter (which coincidently, sounds like an 80's game show prop). I woke myself this morning at 6:30 so that I could shower, eat a good breakfast, and grab the various objects (pencils, calculator, crappy eraser, a pair of brown pants, photo ID, admission ticket, water bottle, etc.) that would be prudent for the test (I was just joking about the brown pants). I had gathered these things together last night at about 11:00 and after I finished that I started listening to a "Remembering Tim Russert" segment on Charlie Rose that was very interesting (I have issues falling asleep). When I finally did fall asleep, I had weird dreams. Suffice it to say that I didn't get enough sleep.
I drove to the University feeling slightly lonely; I listened to a live Phish album on the way. I am going to take a moment to speak of my pre-ACT music choices. I started the morning with Mineral's EndSerenading, because I woke a half of an hour before my alarm and needed something relaxing. When I got into the shower I chose to listen to The Pianist Soundtrack and then, on the drive over, the previously mentioned Phish Album (I figured that the Classical was good to get my head working well, and the Phish worked to get me in a more laid back mood).
I got to the testing center about 7:57 (for an 8:00 test) and followed the other hurried late comers into the building. The room in which I was to take the test in was the furthest one down the hall. Finally, after many instances of "oh, this isn't the line I need to be in," I made it to the room that was designated for ACT plus Writing. The test went alright (I say alright because it is nice and vague and I won't get the result for 4-7 weeks). I asked myself "Is it possible to get those answers from that?" a lot on the Math test, and didn't pace myself very well in the reading one, so I had 6 questions that I left blank. I don't know how I feel about that reading should be one of my better subjects. The writing was kinda fun, but had a less than desirable prompt, but that is to be expected from a general writing test. So that was basically my experience...Oh yeah, If the break comes along and you don't quite feel like using the restroom, just do it!

Yeah I remember taking the ACT, never liked it, because for one Brian got to the window seat before I thought about it, and I was stuck up front so I couldn't cheat. Which my method of cheating it writing the letter B on my hand and every time I didn't know the answer: B, B again.
